I can’t imagine not caring about the fate of our planet. Climate change, landscape degradation, species and ecosystem extinction, long-term pollution; these are some of the mighty terrors that we face today, which layer on top of and complicate our socio-economic issues. While my generation may not have chosen this present and future, we must figure out new ways of living, working, and relating. I believe a livable, love-filled future is available to us, if we collectively choose it. My work in the conservation industry helps others work for a better present and future, especially through compelling, useful, and beautiful maps.
